Joao Azevedo

Marketing Director (EMEA)

 

João Azevedo joined Sherwin-Williams in 2008 following the company’s acquisition of Euronavy. With a background in sales and marketing, he was given the opportunity to take the lead in a Business Development role on a global scale, which lead to his promotion to Energy Market Director, EMEA in 2016. One year on, and João has now assumed the position of Marketing Director, EMEA.

 

João holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering and an MBA. He is also a NACE level 3 certified coatings inspector (cert 27115) and an expert at ISO TC35 SC14 working groups reviewing ISO 12944 and ISO 20340 standards.

Neal Sanderson

Neal Sanderson

North West Area Sales Manager

Neal joined the business at the age of 25 as a Commercial Trainee, giving him the opportunity to spend three months in each department across the business. At the end of this two year placement Neal joined our Technical Services Department where he gained his NACE and BOSIET qualifications, before moving to our Sales team, where he now utilises his wealth of product knowledge to support our customers.

 

Neal loves the career opportunities available at Sherwin-Williams, and likes to play an integral role in our strategic vision. He aspires to one day become a Director at Sherwin-Williams

 

Evette Bond

Supply Chain Manager

 

Evette joined the business at the age of 18 as a Production Office Junior. After completing her HNC and Degree in Business studies through the company, she advanced to her current position of Supply Chain Manager. Her previous roles have included Production Planner, Inventory Co-ordinator, Raw Material Planner and Supply Chain Team Leader.

 

Evette loves the challenge of a busy manufacturing environment and meeting targets, but she says the best bit about working at Sherwin-Williams is its people and team culture

Operations Director

Glenn Oakley

Glenn joined the business at the age of 17 as a Production Apprentice. He progressed through roles which included, Production Support Technician, Planning Manager, Production Manager, Warehouse Manager and Supply Chain and Logistics Manager. During this time Glenn also completed his NVQ Level 3 in Laboratory Techniques, a HNC in Chemistry and finally a Masters Degree in Chemistry.

 

Glenn says that people make the difference at Sherwin-Williams; "Through positive working relationships we have created an innovative environment where everyone pulls together as a team".

 

Debbie Dickinson

Debbie Dickinson

Customer Services Manager

Debbie joined the business at the age of 25 as a Customer Service Specialist. She has undertaken a variety of courses and qualifications through Sherwin-Williams including NVQ’s in Customer Service, Business Improvement Techniques and Leadership & Management.

 

Debbie loves the variety which her role brings in terms of challenges, but she says, "it’s the people which make the company what it is".
